Last Updated:02 April 2012
  1. Everyone can enter a contest. All participants are required to wear a contestant’s number on their chest or back, they are to follow the Climbing festival rules* and obey safety regulations, keep the climbing routes clean and leave the route boundaries untouched, take care of the environment and be friendly to others.
  2. Contestants may attempt 100 bouldering routes with an obligatory standing by belay. Route length varies from 3 to 10 meters.
  3. Contestants pass the routes on a first come first served basis. One can take unlimited attempts to complete a route. No one is allowed to attempt a route without a partner providing a stand by belay.
  4. Upon starting a route contestants are required to hold a starting point for 2 seconds. A 2 second hold of a finishing point allows one to consider the route completed.
  5. A route is not considered completed if a contestant:
    - returns to a starting position;
    - hasn’t demonstrated a 2 second hold of a starting or finishing point;
    - hasn’t followed specific route rules if any.
  6. Upon completing a route a contestant marks his personal route register with a ballpoint pen.
  7. Contestants sum up number of routes completed and report the number to a Climbing festival secretary. A route register maybe presented to the secretary but remain in possession of a contestant.
  8. Contestants’ results are ranked within the following groups:
